Matthew Oxenham

Christchurch wrestler Matthew Oxenham was "over the moon" to be heading to his first Commonwealth Games.

Oxenham took up the sport after watching it on TV at a young age and has loved it ever since. He attended a successful training camp in the US in 2022 as part of his Games preparation.

He is coached by Stephen Hill and competed in the men's U68kg category in Birmingham.
