In an exciting day of sport on Day 3 of the Pacific Games, our Mixed Archery team, comprising Finn Matheson and Nuala Edmundson, had a strong performance at the range in the Continental Cup Tournament.

Managing tricky conditions, the team went up against a formidable Australian side in the gold medal match. While our Trans-Tasman rivals proved to be tough competitors, our archers secured a second placing, narrowly missing the top spot and a qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Meanwhile, in the weightlifting arena, 17-year-old Olivia Selemaia competed in the Women's U71kg category, finishing fourth in both the Snatch (85kg) and Clean & Jerk (106kg), as well as overall.
