Chloe Tipple, New Zealand’s representative in the Olympic women’s skeet shooting, had a day she’d prefer to forget.
Tipple, who finished a creditable 13th in the Rio Olympics, managed scores of just 22, 18 and 22 from her three qualification rounds. Her total of 62 left her trailing the 28-strong field and well off the top six who will advance to tomorrow’s final.
Two women, Diana Bacosi of Italy, and Meng Wei of China, each completed three flawless rounds of 25 for maximum totals of 75.
