Radford 19th in 10km swim

New Zealander Kane Radford finished 19^th in the men’s marathon swim today.

Radford, 25, completed the demanding 10km course in 1h 53min 18.7s.

It was a tight race with the top 20 all involved in a virtual bunch finish.

The winner was Ferry Weertman of the Netherlands in 1h 52min 59.8s, but it required a photo finish before he was given the verdict ahead of Greece’s Spiros Giannotis.
