The second of three unique residential homes helping to send the New Zealand Team to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games has been officially unveiled in Cambridge.

The New Zealand Olympic Committee (NZOC) has partnered with Jennian Homes on the project which will see three homes built in the lead up to the Paris Olympic Games. The first home was built in Christchurch and has been sold with the proceeds helping fund the team to Paris. The second and third homes will be used as display homes in Cambridge and Wānaka, with Jennian contributing funds to the team for Paris.

NZOC CEO Nicki Nicol extended her thanks to Jennian Homes for making the partnership possible.

“We’re really proud to be partnering with Jennian on this project and we thank them for their continued support of our team,” said Nicol.

“This is a great way to help our Olympians get to the Games. Sending more than 200 athletes across the world and setting up the environment they need to succeed requires substantial funding, and these homes will be a huge help as we work towards Paris.”

Kevin Stanley – Build partner to Jennian Homes, says they’re thrilled to be bringing the Jennian NZ Olympic House project to life in Cambridge.

“This is a real win-win for us, we’re helping the New Zealand Team get to the Olympic Games and also helping New Zealanders get into beautiful homes,” said Stanley.

Kevin is the father of legacy Olympian swimmer Matthew Stanley and says the project is close to his heart.

“I know how much work goes on behind the scenes for Olympic athletes, so to be able to play a small part in getting them to the Games is special for me and the team at Jennian.”

The Jennian NZ Olympic House is located at 1735 Cambridge Road (opposite the Velodrome). This modern 257m² property is perfect for a growing family. It boasts a light-filled open-plan living area, a separate media room, and a kitchen with scullery. With four bedrooms, an ensuite, a family bathroom and powder room, there's plenty of space for everyone. Find out more

Jennian Partnership

Since signing on to support the New Zealand Team heading to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Jennian Homes has continued its significant support of sport throughout New Zealand.

Whether this is at the grass roots level with local community sports teams, the Athletics NZ Jennian National Track and Field Champs, the Jennian Homes Charles Tour with Golf NZ, or the pinnacle of sport with the New Zealand Olympic Team. Jennian Homes believes sport plays an important part in creating a home for New Zealanders and helps connect local communities.

One more Jennian NZ Olympic House will be built in Wānaka, providing more proceeds, and opportunities for athletes to connect with their communities.

The Jennian Team is proud to do its part to support New Zealand’s athletes as they achieve their best on the world stage.

Thank you to Jennian Homes for their valuable support of the New Zealand Team.
