Day 4 saw New Zealand claim six medals - three gold, and three silver, rounding out the medal tally to 13.

Weightlifting:

In a spectacular show of strength, Renee Baarspul dominated the weightlifting arena this evening, clinching three gold medals in the Women's U87kg category - Snatch (95kg), Clean & Jerk (112kg), Total (207kg).

Despite nursing an injury, Hayley Whiting's confidence on the platform stood out, resulting in three silver medals in the Snatch, Clean & Jerk, and Total.

"I feel really happy. I'm pleased to have represented my country on the podium today; bringing home three silver medals is super exciting."

Archery:

Nuala Edmundson's journey to the bronze medal match is nothing short of impressive. Her performances against Palau and Fiji, each resulting in a 6-0 victory, propelled her to the semi-finals. Facing a formidable opponent from Australia, taking it end for end but ultimately falling short with a score of 6-4.

Finn Matheson faced a challenging draw, winning his first match before a tough battle against New Caledonia in the 1/8 round. Matheson went down 4-6, concluding his Pacific Games Tournament.
