The 28 year old has been selected off the back of steady results on the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation World Cup circuit.
The Edinburgh 1970 Commonwealth Games brought about one of New Zealand’s most heart-breaking Commonwealth Games moments. Middle distance runner Sylvia Potts was metres from the line with the women’s 1500m gold medal seemingly in her grasp when she fell. Potts missed out on a medal but returned to compete at next Commonwealth Games placing 8th.
