Elizabeth Stannard

17-year-old Elizabeth will be representing New Zealand in Triathlon at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games. She is a student at Palmerston North Girls' High School and is a member of the Bike Manawatu and Manawatu Triathlon Club. Elizabeth began triathlon in 2010 and so far her sporting highlight has been winning the 2014 Oceania Road Cycling Championships (U19) in Queensland. Elizabeth's favourite quote is, “She turned her can'ts into cans and her dreams into plans.”
