Born in New Zealand, Aneka grew up and lives in Australia, where she has played WNBL for Melbourne and Townsville. She helped Kilsyth to the 2002 Australian Basketball Association title. Aneka first represented New Zealand at the 2001 Oceania championships series. She attended the Athens Olympic Games.
