Changes to the Terms: Please be aware that the NZOC may change the Terms from time to time without notice. Any changes will come into effect as soon as they are posted on the Terms page. Your continued use of the Resources after any changes to the Terms will be regarded as acceptance of the new Terms. Please check the Terms periodically for any changes.

Details: You agree to provide the NZOC with full and accurate personal details including your full name and a valid e-mail address, your school or business and all other information that the NZOC may request from you from time to time ("Account Data"). You will be given the opportunity to review, modify and update Account Information and you agree to notify the NZOC immediately if any of your Account Data changes. All Account Data will be held by New Zealand Olympic Committee at Olympic House, 350 Parnell Road, Parnell, Auckland.

Purpose: The purpose of providing the Account Data is to:

Provide access to the Movin to Rio Resources;

Provide access to Game On! (Olympic values based education) resources;

Inform you about opportunities to be part of the ANZ Olympic Schools Programme or other NZOC Education initiatives and event updates; and

General correspondence and updates, including for non-compulsory research purposes.

Security: You will only use the Resources to access information you are properly authorised to access. Your username is personal to you and you will ensure that no one else has access to it or uses it. You will only register an account to use the Services if you are an individual. You will keep your password and other log-in details confidential and take all steps necessary to keep your account secure. If at any time you become aware of any actual or suspected unauthorised use of your username or password or the security of your account may be compromised, you will notify the NZOC immediately. You will be responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever caused by any failure by you, either directly or indirectly, to comply with this clause 4. The NZOC may change your Account Data at any time and without notice in the interests of maintaining the security of your account and/or the Service.

Your use of the Resources: You agree to use the Resources in a manner that complies with all applicable laws and regulations, and in accordance with the Terms. If you choose to access the Resources from outside of New Zealand, you will also be responsible for complying with the applicable local and national laws of that country. You agree that you will ensure your use of the Resources does not infringe the rights of any other person or entity or restrict or inhibit their use and enjoyment of the Resources. You acknowledge that the NZOC may remove any content that may be offensive or breaches these Terms. The Resources, and any information contained on or within the Resources, may be accessed via standard web browsers only. Access by any other method (including, but not limited to, hacking, scraping, harvesting, data mining or any other extraction or data gathering method) is prohibited, except without the prior written consent of the NZOC.

Intellectual Property: All Resources are protected by copyright. The NZOC are the owners, or are the licenced users of all intellectual property rights used on or in connection with the Resources, including (but not limited to) the copyright material and trademarks used on this website and in the Resources.

Liability: Except to the extent that the law prohibits exclusion of liability, the NZOC shall not be liable to you as a user of the Resources for any loss, damage or expense (whether direct, indirect or consequential) incurred by you or any third party through the acts or omissions of the NZOC, its employees or agents or through incomplete, unavailable or erroneous information. To the full extent permissible by New Zealand law, the NZOC disclaims all responsibility for damages or losses (including, without limitation, financial loss, damages for loss of revenue, loss of profits or savings, and indirect or consequential loss) arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise from you or other users of the Resources for the use of, or inability to use, the Resources, or any material appearing on the Resources, or from any action or decision taken as a result of using the Resources.

Termination: In the event that you commit any breach of the Terms or that the NZOC believes on reasonable grounds that you have misused the Resources, the NZOC may terminate or restrict your access to the Resources immediately without notice, and without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to the NZOC. Upon such written notice, you shall cease to use the Resources and shall not attempt to gain further access to it or the information contained on or within the Resources.

Disclaimer: While the NZOC uses reasonable endeavours to ensure accuracy of the information on the Resources, you, the information is provided on an "as is" basis and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, correctness, timeliness, completeness or fitness for purpose. Access to, and the availability of, the Resources, may be interrupted, restricted or delayed from time to time. The NZOC does not give any warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, in respect of the availability or performance of the Resources.

Governing law: These Terms are governed, and to be interpreted, by New Zealand law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of New Zealand.
