Tickets and Hospitality Packages for Paris 2024

Register now for the Global Ticket Ballot

For Paris and beyond, a single global ticket and hospitality package provider – On Location – has been appointed.

In addition, each Games Organising Committee will be selling tickets directly via a Global Ballot.

This means New Zealand Olympic Travel will no longer be providing tickets or hospitality packages for the Olympic Games. This decision has been made by the IOC (International Olympic Committee) together with upcoming Games Organising Committees. The new approach aims to enable all proceeds from tickets and hosting to go back to the hosts of the Games and to ensure everyone throughout the world has the same level of access.

Ticketing and Hospitality Packages – On Location

For New Zealanders, On Location will be the exclusive and official Hospitality Provider of Olympic Games.  These packages will include tickets and at least one other service, e.g. accommodation, in-venue hospitality, tourist products etc.  These packages will no longer be available from New Zealand Olympic Travel.

We are currently working with On Location to develop packages specific to the needs of New Zealand Team Supporters which we look forward to sharing with you in 2023.

Ticket-only purchases – Paris 2024 Organising Committee

The Paris 2024 Organising Committee is facilitating a global ballot for Olympic Games ticket only purchases. The process to secure these tickets has three phases:

Phase 1: Registration for the Ballot. This registration opens 2 December and closes on 1 February (NZ Time) 2023. If you wish to have the chance to purchase tickets through the global ballot, you must register to do so. You can register for this ballot by clicking here.

Phase 2: The first ballot window which enables you to Make Your Games pack will take place in February 2023. This ballot lets you create your own Games experience by selecting three sessions of your choice (depending on what is available).

Phase 3: The second ballot window will be in May 2023 and is for single ticket purchases.

To access tickets through the ballot, or subsequent ticket sales, you must register.

Friends and Family Ticketing

As has been the case at previous Olympic Games, the official friends and family ticketing programme has guaranteed two tickets per session (or in some cases one if venue space is constrained) for each athlete to pass on to their supporters. This programme will continue for Paris 2024 with details to be confirmed in 2023.

Specific Support for New Zealand Team Supporters

While New Zealand Olympic Travel (NZOT) will no longer be providing ticketing or hospitality packages for the Olympic Games, here at the New Zealand Team, we are still focussed on how we can provide support for friends, whanau and supporters.

This may extend to providing New Zealand Team supporters help identifying accommodation options or more generally with air travel and other services.

And of course, we are also working on creating an incredible New Zealand House in Paris where we can come together to celebrate and meet our athletes and share in their success. We’ll also continue to create other events and activities to celebrate and support our New Zealand Team both locally and abroad.

Register now to be a New Zealand Team Supporter to Paris 2024 and be the first to find out about plans for New Zealand House in Paris and more.

Or, email us at ticketing@olympic.org.nz

We look forward to seeing you at the Paris Olympic Games July 26 – August 11, 2024
