New Zealander Hamish Kerr finished 10th in the men’s high final today.

Kerr, 24, cleared 2.19m and 2.24m at his first attempt, stuttered twice before clearing 2.27m and then succeeded at 2.30 on the third attempt. He missed three times at 2.33m.

The Christchurch athlete had cleared 2.28m to become one of the 13 qualifiers. He has a personal best of 2.31m.
