Alpine Ski racer Alice Robinson (Queenstown, 20) wrapped up what has been a huge Olympic campaign here in Beijing with the Downhill today.

Robinson finished in 25th place in what was only the third Downhill race of her career, the first two being European Cups held just last month in France.

“It was OK, I made quite a few errors and didn’t quite find the flow, but that is how it runs in downhill. It’s all about experience so it was good to get another race under my belt.”

Robinson competed in the Giant Slalom, Super-G and Downhill disciplines here in Beijing.

She will now be heading back to Europe to continue with the World Cup Circuit before returning home to New Zealand in the coming months.
