A former Fiji international,Davu quickly found her niche in New Zealand after making it her home in 2000. It took just one domestic season before she was included in the Silver Ferns for the tour to South Africa at the end of 2000.

Davu played her first game against Australia for the Silver Ferns in the final of the Commonwealth Games in 2002.  She captained the Canterbury Flames for the 2005 season.
