Tyran Gillespie

Rotorua Western Heights High School student Tyran Gillespie has won the boys' national secondary schools beach volleyball title two years in a row.

Tyran has been playing beach volleyball for five years and has represented New Zealand at international competitions.

He will compete alongside Keegan Joe in the men's doubles team event. The pair have known each other for 5 years.

Tyran will be 18 at Games time.
