Tim Price and his family have long been involved with horses.
In New Zealand Tim was a world cup showjumper but later switched to eventing. With his wife Jonelle, he headed to the United Kingdom in 2003 with two horses to prepare for the Burghley Horse Trials but it wasn't until 2005 that they moved there permanently.
They describe their base at Mere Farm as a little slice of New Zealand in the British countryside.
Tim made his début for the New Zealand senior team at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.
Rio 2016 was Tim's first Olympic Games.
