Beijing 2022 will be Tiarn's second Winter Olympic Games, although due to an injury in training just days before his event Tiarn was unable to compete at PyeongChang 2018.
The Queenstown based snowboarder will be representing New Zealand in snowboard slopestyle and big air in Beijing.
Tiarn is coming into Beijing fresh off a podium finish at the FIS Snowboard Slopestyle World Cup held at Mammoth Mountain where he finished in third.
Tiarn has claimed another three World Cup podiums in his career, two slopestyle and one big air and including taking the win at the Calgary Slopestyle World Cup in 2020.
Tiarn is coached by Snow Sports NZ High Performance Snowboard Coaches Sean Thompson and Mitch Brown.
When Tiarn isn't snowboarding he is an avid skateboarder.
