Terina Te Tamaki was a member of the New Zealand women's rugby sevens team which won silver at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The team beat Great Britain convincingly in its semi-final but was unable to match Australia in the final, with their rivals overwhelming them in a 24-17 win. 

The team hooker and former Hamilton Girls High School rugby captain is known for her tremendous leg speed and mind for the game.
