Feisty mid-courter, Temepara George first joined the Silver Ferns squad in 1996 and made her on-court debut in 2000 against Australia.  At 1.70m, George is one of the shortest players in International Netball. Her performances show however that lack of height is no hindrance to playing at this level. She is vice captain
