Shiray Kaka

Shiray Kaka is an Olympic gold medallist, having won the Tokyo 2020 sevens tournament with the New Zealand women's sevens team.

Kaka debuted for the New Zealand women's sevens team in Dubai 2013. With electric footwork and deft pace, she is a handful for opposition defence.

In a career that has been plagued by injuries, Kaka has fought back from shoulder and knee surgeries and returned to the contracted squad in 2020.

Kaka was a travelling reserve in the 2016 Rio Olympic squad.
