Paul first competed at the Commonwealth Games at Manchester in 2002 and Gold Coast went on to become his second games.

In the build up to his second Commonwealth Games, Paul won gold in the Eight Nations Fours event in 2016 and again securing the top place on podium at the Mulit Nations event on the Gold Coast later that year.

Paul (PEG) was born in Scotland and was brought up in Dunedin. Paul worked in the local Engineering industry in Dunedin for a number of years, including the Otago Polytechnic prior to locating to Australia in 2010. Off the bowling green, Paul can be found dancing Rock and Roll. 

Paul lives on the Gold Coast.
