Glasgow 2014 was the second Commonwealth Games for Michelle, where she finished 5th. She also represented New Zealand at the 2010 Games in Delhi and at the 2004 Commwealth Youth Games in Bendigo.
Michelle won the 2010 Oceania Championships and claims one of her greatest moments in the sport was when she beat a top 30 player for the first time in 2011.
