Merinda Bramley

16-year-old Merinda will be representing New Zealand in Wrestling at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing. She is a student at Papamoa College in Tauranga and is a member of the Mount Maunganui Wrestling Club. Merinda's sporting highlights include the 2013 Australian Youth Festival, where she placed 3^rd, as well as the 2014 Oceania Championships, where she placed 1^st. Merinda began competing at age 11 and her role model is Valerie Adams.
