Meredith Orr   Meredith debuted for New Zealand against Korea in 2001. Since then Meredith has become an integral leader in the Black Sticks team. Meredith has played over 110 test matches for New Zealand and is renowned for her silky skills and distribution skills on attack. She is a tireless worker in the midfield both on attack and defence. The Beijing Olympic Games will be Meredith's second Olympic Games having competed at the Athens Olympics in 2004. Highlights of her career to date include winning Oceania Cup in 2007 and winning Champions Challenge in 2005. Originally from Auckland, Meredith now resides in Christchurch where she plays for the Canterbury Cats in the New Zealand National Hockey League.
