Wellington's Kat Whata-Simpkins is a talented athlete who has represented New Zealand in both rugby and league.
Hailing from Wellington, Whata-Simpkins made her debut for the Black Ferns Sevens team in China in 2014 and since then has been a regular member of the squad.
