Julian Dean

Dean, who will be competing in his fourth Olympics, is NZ's highest profile professional cyclist. He was a key member of the Credit Agricole team for several years and this year moved to become one of the main sprinters for Slipstream Chipotle. He was 15th in the road race in Athens. He was in the pursuit team that finished eighth in Atlanta, and won a bronze in the Commonwealth Games at Victoria in 1994. He is the current NZ road race champion.
