Izayah Mauriohooho Le'afa | New Zealand Olympic Team

17-year-old Izayah will be representing New Zealand in 3 x 3 Basketball at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games. Izayah attends St Patrick's College in Wellington and plays for the Wellington Saints NBL Basketball Team. Izayah started playing basketball at age five and says that his sporting highlight so far has been making the Tall Blacks in 2013. Izayah says that Michael Jordan is his role model. His favourite quote is, “Hard works beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.”
