EVENTS: Women's 100m, 50m Fly and 100m, 50m Backstroke

Fresh off the back of claiming two national championship titles at the 2022 New Zealand Championships, Hazel Ouwehand competed at her first Commonwealth Games in Birmingham 2022.

Ouwehand is a 50m butterfly specialist with previous international experience, having competed at the 2018 Fina World Championships. Ouwehand is in fine form, winning gold in the 50m butterfly and 50m backstroke at the New Zealand Championships.

Ouwehand competed in the 50m butterfly, 50m backstroke, 100m butterfly and 100m backstroke in Birmingham.
