Geoff Allott was a member of the only cricket team New Zealand have sent to the Commonwealth Games. Cricket was a sport selected at the 1998 Kuala Lumpur Commonwealth Games and the New Zealand team claimed the Bronze medal.
Geoff's cricket career spanned from 1996-2000 playing 10 test matches, 31 ODI matches and 9 world cup matches before retiring from all cricket in 2001 due to injuries.
