Auckland based swimmer, Carina Doyle will join the New Zealand Swimming Tokyo 2020 Olympic team, to swim in the Women's 4 x 200m Freestyle relay, with this being her first Olympic Games.

Carina has been selected for the Women's 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay after achieving a FINA B time in the 200m Freestyle event at the 2021 New Zealand Swimming Championships. The freestyle swimmer was part of the team who secured the quota spot at the 2019 FINA World Championships, when she swam with the Women's 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay. The team finished 10th overall.
