Caleb Tangitau

EVENT: Men's Rugby 7's

Caleb Tangitau was part of the New Zealand Schools programme and after a starring in the New Zealand Conder sevens team in late 2020, he was brought into train with the All Blacks Sevens. Tangitau played in a tournament against Tonga as well as Takiwhitu Tuturu and has been fully contracted to the team in 2022. 

Tangitau made his World Series debut in Singapore in early 2022, and made am immediate impact, scoring 17 tries across four tournaments to be the leading New Zealand try scorer. 

Tangitau won bronze alongside the team at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
