Bryce Collins
First debuted for the Black Sticks in 2003, however his career has been hampered by injuries and ill-health. The low point of his career came when he had to pull out of the 2004 Athens campaign due to ill-health, and then rupturing his ACL playing Australia in the Oceania Cup in 2007. Born and bred on the North Shore, Bryce has represented Auckland, Canterbury and North Harbour in the New Zealand National Hockey League – one of his career highs scoring the winning goal for North Harbour in the 2007 NHL final. Bryce possesses one of the hardest hits in the game, a tool he has used to great effect – he can also carry the ball forward at pace creating attacking opportunities for his team-mates.Tweet Share
