A bundle of energy and athleticism, Auckland's Bailey Mes has continued to grow her game since making her debut for the Silver Ferns in 2012 against South Africa.

Impressing selectors during national trials that year, Mes was the bolter in the squad and went on to play Tests in the midcourt and the shooting circle that year while becoming the 150th Silver Fern in the process.

A serious knee injury dashed her chances in 2013 but she bounced back to regain selection the following year and was a key performer in the FAST5 Ferns successfully defending their FAST5 Netball World Series title.

A dynamic player, Mes has redefined her shooting game in recent times, her out-and-out athletic ability and improved accuracy setting a solid platform.

Fleet-footed and possessing an impressive standing jump, the 1.87m Mes has all the necessary attributes, her quality growing on the back of an outstanding Netball World Cup Sydney 2015.
