Adine Wilson took over the Captain's reins in March 2005 for the series against England, and has retained this role.  Wilson debuted for the Silver Ferns in 1999 at just 20 years of age. She started her playing career as a shooter, moving to the mid-court to concentrate on the Wing Attack position in the past few years.  Wilson is a former NZU21 Captain, who took part in the 1996 and 2000 World Youth Cups, the latter as captain.
