    Nathan Cohen’s first foray into Olympic competition ended disappointingly when he and Rob Waddell were edged out of the medals in Beijing in 2008. Before he was done, however, Cohen had won two world titles and an Olympic gold medal and was regarded as one of the greats of New Zealand rowing.
    Cohen was born in Christchurch in 1986 and raised in Invercargill.

    Nadine is remembered for her finals performance at Athens 2004 and her gold medal at the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games, both in the double trap. Double trap is no longer an Olympic event and Nadine has made strong progress in the transition to the single ahead of Beijing.

    Nathan secured his position in the Athens Games team by finishing as the top New Zealander (4th place) at the 2004 Oceania Championships. Athens will be Nathan’s first Olympic Games.
