    A member of the Yngling crew that finished 7th at the 2004 world championships to confirm a spot in Athens. Also won a gold medal at the highly rated Miami regatta. This will be Kylie’s first Olympic Games.

    Louisa Hill was the first Kiwi to be named for the New Zealand equestrian tilt at the London Olympics. 

    It will be the second time this 50-year-old Auckland dressage rider has ridden at an Olympic Games – her first was at the 2004 Athens Olympics aboard the Hanovarian mare Gabana, a horse she bred herself. 


    Athol Earl
    Born 1952 

    Known to all as “Joe”, Athol Earl was the youngest of the champion eight of the early 1970s. 

    He won the Olympic gold with the eight at Munich in 1972, when he filled the No 3 berth, and a bronze with the eight in Montreal in 1976.
