Katie showed signs of a stellar career ahead from an early age. She has represented her country eight times as a junior, she took out the World Junior Championship in Abu Dhabi in 2002, as well as winning the National Pony Grand Prix Series three times, and the Pony of the Year title twice.
Glasgow was the second Commonwealth Games for Katie, earning two medals from two Games. She helped the team earn bronze in the bronze and fourth placing game against Trinidad and Tobago.
