Glasgow was the first Commonwealth Games for Tayla, a campaign that saw her win bronze in the 58kg category.

She competed in in the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore, and more recently competed in the 2013 Commonwealth Championships in South Africa, where she placed 3rd. Tayla is the current Oceania Champion (58kg category) for 2014. She is also the only female on the wrestling team representing New Zealand in Glasgow this year (2014).

Adams leads the way

With four days of competition remaining, New Zealand has already equalled its medal haul from four years ago in Delhi, after another hugely successful day in Glasgow.
