Emma Twigg (21) – former Junior world champion and current Under-23 world champion after a dominant victory in Strathclyde in 2007, Twigg was the youngest in the elite world championship final in Munich in 2007 by seven years. This indicates she has a long future at the top of the sport ahead of her. The girl from Hawkes Bay – currently studying for a communications degree – will head to Beijing keen to gain as much experience for the future as she can. She saves her best for the big day and a superb performance in Beijing is not out of the question.
