Two additional boxers have been confirmed to the New Zealand Commonwealth Games team this week.

David Nyika 81kg Light Heavyweight and Eric Finau 75kg Middleweight will join the seven boxers named in May following bold medal winning bouts at the North Island Golden Gloves event in Taupo over Queens Birthday weekend.

The complete New Zealand boxing team is:

David Nyika Mens 81kg Light Heavyweight Age 18, Birthplace - Hamilton, Residence - Hamilton. Gold medal North Island Golden Gloves 2014, Gold medal Villenzia Memorial Cup Albania 2014, bronze medal Felix Stermm Cup 2014.

Eric Finau 75kg Middleweight Age 19, Birthplace - Tonga, Residence, Manukau City. 2014 - Gold Medal at North Island Golden Gloves, 2014 Tour to Australia, won Gold (beat Australian #1)
