Shooter Ryan Taylor has been selected to the New Zealand Olympic Team for London 2012. The confirmation of his place in the team comes after an application yesterday to the International Shooting Federation for the re-allocation of a shooting quota spot was approved. New Zealands single quota spot for shooting was re-allocated from womens trap to mens 50m prone and followed a successful appeal in the Sports Tribunal of New Zealand overnight Thursday by Mr Taylor. The New Zealand Olympic Committee had actively supported the appeal as a correct outcome to its assessment of Mr Taylor being able to meet the performance criteria for Olympic selection. The final selections to the New Zealand Olympic Team will be completed by July 9 ahead of the London 2012 opening on 27 July. Shooting
