Three days of meetings have begun for the sixth meeting of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Coordination Commission for Sochi 2014. The meeting, being held at the Black Sea Coast resort, will bring together the IOC Coordination Commission the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee and other key stakeholders. The meeting will give a chance for the IOC Coordination Commission to receive updates on a range of topics related to Sochi 2014 Games. Topics will include how preparations are going in regards to groups including athletes, spectators, and media, National Olympic Committees, International Federations and marketing partners. There will also be updates on construction, communications, culture and education, transport, accommodation, sustainability, workforce and technology. The three day visit will be concluded with site visits to some of the venues which have been developed since the Commission visit in March last year. The Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics will run from 7 to 23 February 2014 and will host seven Olympic Winter Sports.
