Rio 2016 Packages On-Sale Soon

Packages to the Rio Olympic Games for New Zealanders will be on-sale throughout the country from early May 2015.

The international process is now underway and we look forward to helping New Zealanders share in the excitement Rio and our athletes success on the worlds stage.

New Zealanders will be able to purchase a range of packages for Rio 2016 which will include flights, accommodation and Olympic Games tickets through our official ticketing partner, New Zealand Olympic Travel. A limited number of individual tickets will also be available.

The Olympic Games are the worlds biggest sporting event and tickets are always in high demand.

While we will work very hard to help New Zealanders enjoy the Olympic Games, we may not always be able to fulfil all ticket requests. Accommodation in Rio de Janeiro during the Olympic Games will also be at a premium.

Please note, tickets on sale in New Zealand will be for New Zealand residents only.

Athlete Friends and Family

We know how important it is for athletes to have their biggest fans in the stadium.

We expect to announce the details of a Rio 2016 ticketing plan for athlete friends and family in August 2015.  Please note we anticipate that these tickets will be for a maximum of one or two friends or family members nominated and confirmed by the selected athlete.
