With less than 500 days to go before the London 2012 Olympic Games, the New Zealand Olympic Committee is looking to fill a key role within the Performance Support Team. The organisation is advertising for the Health Team Leader - London 2012. The focus of the New Zealand Olympic Health team is to support team members health and wellbeing. The health team is to provide the highest level of performance-focused health and physical care within the inspirational, high performance environment created in the New Zealand Olympic Team. The Health Team Leader is to provide team leadership and deliver the plans, processes and strategies to ensure the health team plays its role within the Olympic environment. New Zealand Olympic Team Chef de Mission Dave Currie said the position is critical and the team is looking for experienced and high calibre medical professionals to apply for the position.
