The wait is over! From today, Monday 11 April, London Olympic Games Ticket applications will be open at your local Harvey World Travel and United Travel Branch. Olympic Games create history and moments of great national pride. New Zealand athletes will be carving their own place in history at the London Olympic Games along side some of the biggest names in international sport. Imagine being there. The New Zealand Olympic Committees travel partners are United Travel and Harvey World Travel with Cartan Global. Cartan is the Authorised Ticket Reseller for the New Zealand Olympic Committee. Olympic Packages On Sale Olympic packages will be on sale through travel partners United Travel and Harvey World Travel. Packages will include confirmed event tickets and accommodation. You can also talk to your Harvey World Travel or United Travel agent about flight options for London. Olympic Ticket Applications Open Travel partners Harvey World Travel and United Travel will be taking applications for Olympic event tickets now. Phase I applications will be open from today, 11 April - 23 May and will be followed immediately by general applications. Phase I ticket application requests will be confirmed in late June. If you are a New Zealander, but reside outside of New Zealand and wish to obtain event tickets for London 2012, please visit the local ticket agent as listed on http://www.tickets.london2012.com Limited Supply Olympic Tickets are limited. In particular, tickets to the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Aquatics, certain athletics finals and Track Cycling are in very short supply. Harvey World Travel and United Travel may not be able to provide you with your first choice in event tickets. It is therefore important that you nominate your second preference for event tickets in case your first choice is not available. Family Tickets The organisers of the London Olympic Games have created Family Tickets to ensure athletes have the support they need during competition. TWO tickets for per event/phase of competition (only one per swimming event) have been reserved for each athlete. Athletes will be asked to nominate their family ticket recipient/s and tickets will be held at New Zealand House, Southwark Bridge, London, for collection. If you are a nominated family member (ie. nominated as family ticket recipient by the competing athlete) please do not include these family tickets in your general ticket order.
