Young Ambassadors Programme; The New Zealand Olympic Committee (NZOC) has been selected to participate in the Young Ambassadors Programme coordinated by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in Innsbruck. We are now looking for expressions of interest from individuals aged from 18 to 25 who would like to be selected as our participant and member of the New Zealand Team to Innsbruck 2012. The IOC requires the Young Ambassador to be involved in the promotion of the YOG Culture and Education Programme (CEP) to young people in general and the New Zealand team athletes, pre, during and post the Games. In addition to this activity the NZOC would like the selected participant to become a vital member of the New Zealand Team for Innsbruck 2012 in an Athlete Support role. They will receive training and mentoring for this role via our new Athlete Support Development Programme to begin in the second half of 2011.
