Cui 12th in springboard diving

Lizzie Cui finished 12^th in the women’s 3m springboard diving finals tonight.

Cui, 20, totalled 247.10. points. The winner of the event was Canadian Jennifer Abel, with a score of 366.95 points.

Cui had a day to forget in the 1m springboard yesterday, registering a score of 0 on one dive and failing to advance to the final. She was eager to dive up to her best today.

In the morning preliminaries, Cui qualified 10^th of 12 with a total of 241.20.
