The morning of Day 7 was definitely our biggest morning to date here at ANZ NZ House, with many supporters eagerly awaiting the Netball to commence. The Netball was on all screens with lots of cheering and clapping all throughout the House, even from a certain Silver Fern legend, Irene van Dyk. Unfortunately, the Ferns were unable to get the result we were after.

Continuing the theme of last week, the weather certainly came to the party. With the sun shining all day long and a stocked BBQ of Hellers sausages, we had a recipe for a happy supporter. Followed up by Tasmyn Benny winning bronze in the boxing under 48kg women, it seems as though a day doesn't go by where New Zealand don't get a medal!

Today's medal ceremony brought in Julia Ratcliffe fresh off her gold medal-winning performance from last night. It was such a great time to hear her talk about her experience at the Games and what winning meant to her. Being surrounded by so many supporters it certainly was a brilliant atmosphere, possibly our best to date!
