Renee Olley

17-year-old Renee will be representing New Zealand in Rowing at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games. Renee is a student at Craighead Diocesan School in Timaru and is a member of the Timaru Rowing Club. She began competing in 2011 and so far her sporting highlight has been her selection for the 2014 NZ Junior Rowing Team. Renee's role models are Hamish Bond, Eric Murray and her older sister Sam. Her favourite quote is from Nelson Mandela: “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
