Piet Bulling is the hard-man of the men's team pursuit, a highly talented and uncompromising performer.

He became a teenage star with national titles and records but dogged by some persistent injuries, he walked away from the sport at 17 with a bright future in place. Bulling was lured back to the sport, heading to the tough roads of Europe before coming back home and working his way into the high performance squad.
